Passport & Document Collection:
Applicants need to produce their original invoice cum
receipt for passport collection. Where the applicant is unable to collect their
own documents, an authorised person can do so on their behalf. The authorised
person will be required to present a letter of authorisation which includes
both the applicants and authorised person`s signature. The authorised person
will also be required to present photo ID, such as a passport or drivers
licence, and the original invoice cum receipt.
There is no change in Australian immigration requirements and the
decision-making process for the grant of Australian visas will remain with the
Australian Visa Office. All applications continue to be assessed
on their merits in accordance with Australian legislation and policy.
Note: There is no change to the existing Australian policy
regarding the lodgement of applications for entertainers, general skilled
migration, parent migration and provisional entry to Australia on business
skills grounds. These applications should continue to be lodged directly with
the relevant processing office in Australia.
